History

(Inside NEO80 on Melrose Ave. in 1990.)

NEO80 Now is a nostalgic piece of history. Infamously, NEO80 had it's home on Melrose Avenue with a boutique/design studio where costume designers Klaus Wille and Lisa Elliot created iconic looks for rock, pop and video performers through much of the 1980's and 1990's.

Wille and Elliott, put their puffy poodle skirt, fun party wear and spandex stamp on stars such as the Tubes, Devo, Prince, Olivia Newton-John, Madonna, Vince Neil, DeBarge and many more.

The artistic couple closed the shop on Melrose in 1998 after many successful years of setting trends. Wille and Elliott were pioneers in the history of the now-famous strip of boutiques and eclectic stores.

After sharing memories with long time friend, Sharon Hagstrom, former NE080 employee, and her daughter, Rayne Parvis, personal stylist/author of Ultimate Guide to Style: From Drab to Fab! they thought Wille's legacy of love, Lisa Elliott's designs and vintage t-shirt with the logo on it should be available for all to wear...and remember. NEO80 Now was born...again.
